All political parties in Nigeria to allow creative, innovative and purpose driven youths to fly their flags in the 2019 general elections.
The Emerging Political Leader Hon.Excel makes this clarion call recently at the “Light of the nation” southeast Nigeria during his engagement with Matthew Purl, The Political Counselor-US Embassy, Nigeria.
The ECOWAS Peace Envoy asserts that with the youths political revolutions going on in the world as seen in Canada, France, Austria, Nandi County in Kenya, Liberia to mention but a few, that youths inclusiveness in governance, policy making and execution is very vital in the growth of our economy and strengthening the democracy because majority of our youths have the leadership prowess to drive the Country forward.
The youths which are the largest in Nigeria population should be given a share in the political processes in our various political parties from ward level to national level as real political drivers and actors (not as thugs, ballot box snatchers, e-rats, campaign fans, to mention but a few).
The government should sustain democracy in Nigeria is not limited to old folks, but, it is a collective responsibility of all qualified citizens to be mainstreamed and contribute immensely towards the growth and advancement of Nigeria in all ramifications.
Finally, He congratulates young people that have declared their interest to run for various elective positions come 2019 general elections and implores youths to participate actively towards electing young people that have the creative, innovative and leadership potentials towards making this Country great.
