The State working Committee of the All Progressives Grand Alliance(APGA) led by the indefatigable Chairman Chief Sir Norbert Obi (Ugo bu Eze Nnunnu) welcomed the Aspirant for the Federal House of Representatives(Nnewi North, Nnewi South and Ekwusigo Federal Constituency) Chief Tony Nwabunike( IJU) to the state Secretariat of the party.
Declaring his intention, Chief Tony Nwabunike a former PDP stakeholder from Ozubulu in Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State stated that he joined the ruling party after long unfruitful years in the PDP, retreating that APGA is a Party set up to wipe away the tears of Ndigbo. He also acknowledged the brotherly and non partisan love shown by Governor Willie Obiano even while he was in the PDP cemented his love and admiration for the party.
Echoing his thoughts, the MD of ANSAA Sir Jude Emecheta assured the State working committee that Chief Tony will deliver if given the opportunity.
Reacting on Behalf of the State Chairman and the state working committee, the State deputy chairman Hon. Tony Omeligwe assured the aspirant that his defection from the PDP is good news and everything due to a party member will be given to him. Thanking the delegation, the State secretary of the party Hon. Barr. Tony Ifeanya assured the aspirant and other Party faithfuls of a free and credible election as the State Chairman Chief Sir Norbert Obi is a father to all aspirants, irrespective of age and financial status.
