Chief Dr. Willie Obiano Executive Governor has assured that the next four years will witness greater achievements than was recorded in his first term.
He made this known during a Eucharistic special thanksgiving mass held at St Patricks Cathedral, Awka to mark his second term inauguration.
The Governor explained that the mass was to thank God for his mercies that saw him through his first term and to seek his guidance and protection as he commences his second term.
He pointed out that he is going to aggressively pursue the realization of all his developmental vision in his second term which he noted has the potentials to transform the State.
Obiano solicited for the prayers and support of all to make his dream of building a new Anambra of everyone’s dream, come to reality.
In a sermon, the Catholic Bishop of Awka, Most Rev Paulinus Ezeokafor observed that despite winning his reelection, the governor was still working, reminding him that there is room for improvement, as the people who gave him overwhelming support are expecting improved living conditions from him in the second term.
He spoke of God’s willingness to enter into a new covenant of blessings and protection as he had with the Israelites in the Bible, with anyone who is faithful to him, urging Christians to live their lives in a way that will please God.
The mass which was officiated by the Archbishop of Onitsha Catholic Archdiocese, His Grace Most Rev Valerian Okeke, was well attended by APGA members of National Assembly, as well as friends and Supporters of the Obiano administration.
