The peace committee recently set up by Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, following the crisis that erupted between Ogrute and Aji communities in Igbo-Eze North Local Government Area, which led to the destruction of property and death of Mr. Chibueze Uramah, today submitted its report to the governor, at the Government House, Enugu.
Members of the peace committee commended Gov. Ugwuanyi for his swift intervention, which ensured that there was no further loss of lives and destruction of property as well as his wisdom in constituting the committee towards amicable resolution of the conflict.
