Pope Francis always leads by example. This is a beautiful act of humility. May the Holy Spirit Bless this wonderful Pope.
What this gesture says is that I don’t care what you happen to think of me because this is not about me. I am begging you on behalf of the precious and innocent lives of others to please give peace a chance. That to me is raw humility and it also says that African lives matter in the world and to the Catholic Church.
