This marriage between the Ministry of Youth Empowerment and Creative Economy and the Chike Okoli Centre for Entrepreneurial Studies(COCES) is born out of the Governor’s drive to equip youths for productive living and put them off the streets as satisfied people, crime free people, and employers of Labour.

The Honourable Commissioner, Hon. Bonaventure Enemali extolled the founder of the entrepreneurial centre for the visionary provision of the facility.

He went on to state;

“The skills acquisition program is for financially disadvantaged members of the society who are full of ideas.”

“I’d tour all the Skills Acquisition Centres in Anambra state and make them functional and useful”

“We’d do impact investing, not the conventional thing you’re used to.”

“We’d have a solid monitoring team. We’d do in such a way that graduates of these various training exercise will form an alumni body, a firm contact for the said monitoring.”

The director of the centre, professor N. Anyikwa thanked the young Commissioner for his interests in the centre and her activities.
