The Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District at the Senate, Distinguished Senator Chief Sir Victor Umeh OFR (Ohamadike), today March 31, 2018, attended the 2018 empowerment program of the Honourable Member representing Anaocha l Constituency in the Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Chief Charles Azubuike Okoye (Odenigbo Agulu).

Hon. Azubuike Charles Okoye in his brief speech thanked all for attending the event, and in a special way, Senator Victor Umeh OFR. Odenigbo Agulu gave a brief rundown of his achievement within 2 years, 2 months he has being in office. He assured of continues efforts to increase the living standard of his constituents both now and in the future.

Senator Chief Victor C. Umeh OFR in his remark, commended the performance of Hon. Azubuike as the member representing Anaocha l Constituency in the State House of Assembly. Ohamadike highlighted some of the good deeds of Hon. Azubuike Okoye which amongst other things include, the construction of classroom blocks for selected schools in his constituency, provided sets of computers and laboratory equipments to selected schools, engaged over 112 students in scholarship and bursary, assisted in gainful employment of 50 youths in Government, as well as distributed numbers of empowerment items such as refrigerators, gas cookers, wheel barrows, sawing machines, pieces of abada wrappers, light generating sets, as well as bags of rice to his constituents. Ohamadike said he will continue to support Odenigbo in his efforts to improve the living stand of his constituents. Senator Umeh however commissioned the Constituency Office of Hon. Azubuike Okoye located at Afor Agulu market square, Agulu.

The Chairman of the occasion, Hon. Engr. Ikeobi Ejiofor (Ikeoha Obeledu) extolled the good performance of Hon. Azubuike Okoye notwithstanding he did not assume office when his colleagues started because of court processes after his election. He assured that every good performance shall be rewarded in due time by the Anaocha Community.
